Drummer Frankie Banali (QUIET RIOT) has issued the following update:

"I will be featured on four songs for the forthcoming LA trio BRIDGE OF SIGHS debut CD Angry Clouds due to be released this fall.

Together with producer Neil Citron, I am currently recording drum tracks and putting the finishing touches on the songs 'Crucified', 'Sweet Thing', 'Freedom's Stain' and 'Thinner Than Water'. I will also appear as special guest drummer for select live dates with BOS in 2009.

Today I received my gratis copy of We Wish You A Metal Xmas And A Headbanging New Year which I believe is the European version on Armoury Records, and contains the track that I participated in.

The lovely DORO PESCH did a wonderful Doro-esque vocal, the mighty MICHAEL SCHENKER performed his inimitably and wonderful guitar styling's, and of course, Tony Franklin was at his usual 'Fretless Monster' best. Yours truly pounded out the holiday cheer behind the Ludwig drums.

The track is the traditional 'O Christmas Tree and handled in a most untraditional manner for all of it's 4:15.

Remember 'HM' stands for both heavy metal as well as holiday mayhem! LOL!

I had a great time at this year's Hollywood Vintage and Custom Drum Show and I want to sincerely thank Todd Trent of Ontario Music for sponsoring my drum clinic on Saturday, October 4th. Todd, you are the BEST!

My thanks also to Mr. Kerry Crutchfield who puts on this great show year after year and puts so much hard work into making the shows so important! It was great to see so many old friends, so many new friends, so many old drums, so many new drums!

My biggest thanks goes out to everyone who attended my clinic on Saturday. It was great to have the room packed to capacity, but I'm sorry that some were not let in due to the Fire Marshall concerns with overcrowding. I really had a great time and it was wonderful to meet so many of you at the 'meet & greet' following my clinic.

All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart and all of you ROCKED!"
