hot flashes news exodus

Rob Dukes, lead vocalist of the thrash metal band EXODUS has teamed with Terminal Press on a raw and brutal new comic - I Am Become God.

The Big Bad Wolf from Comicmonsters.com caught up with Dukes to talk about the "slice of pure evil" due out in January.

Here are a few excerpts from the chat:

The Big Bad Wolf: How did you come up with the concept for "I Am Become God"?

Dukes: "It started with a kid killing a cat and eating it, then it seemed to take a life of it's own after that."

The Big Bad Wolf: What kind of influence did your music have on the making of this comic?

Dukes: "Just the violent imagery that we infuse in our lyrics. When I write lyrics I do a lot of research, and killers are really interesting to me."

The Big Bad Wolf: What can you tell us about the main character in "I Am Become God"?

Dukes: "He is really smart and does not want to be caught. He likes killing so it's in his best interest to be smart about his murders and not get caught."

The Big Bad Wolf: Is this serial killer more like Michael Myers or David Berkowitz?

Dukes: "I guess Berkowitz, because he is crazy as all fuck."

The Big Bad Wolf: What can we expect from this comic in terms of blood and gore?

Rob Dukes: "A lot of disturbing stuff will be in this comic, because that's the world he is in and Garrett really captured that in his artwork."
