Former UFO bassist Pete Way has issued the following New Year's update:
"Now we have dipped a toe into 2014 - I would like to thank you all for your continuing support. Your affection has created such a good vibe it's given me the strength to face my cancer treatment and beat it's ass. I would especially like to wish the 'team' - Jenny Stanley-Clarke (my manager, nurse and soulmate) Jason Poole my fellow band member and brilliant engineer with endless patience and the mighty Mike Clink (he of GUNS N' ROSES fame) who is currently mixing the new album Walking On The Edge in L.A. So 2014 is going to be some year. I'll see you all on tour very soon!!!!!!"
