Darkness Visible, the new studio album by goth/metal rockers HOLYHELL will now be released as digital album and as physical CD in fall 2012. The band had originally announced a pre-release of the album in June.

“We know that our fans have been eagerly awaiting our new album and we are equally excited to share it with the world. However, conflicting schedules forced us to suspend the work in the studio to get ready for our upcoming summer festival tour.” explained HolyHell keyboardist and producer Francisco Palomo.

“We would never jeopardize the quality of our live performance for the sake of the studio work, and we would never jeopardize the quality of our records for the sake of our tour plans.” Palomo continued. “We trust that our fans will understand this and thank them for their support and patience.”

To bridge the waiting for this new studio album full of epic, power-goth metal, HolyHell will release the EP Darkness Visible – The Warning that will feature 3 songs from the forthcoming long play album, and a never before released live version of the song ‘Armageddon’, performed live at The Agora, Cleveland, OH on March 12th, 2011.

Darkness Visible – The Warning is scheduled for digital release on June 26th exclusively on iTunes and on the band’s own online store, The Kingdom Of Steel.

The EP will also be included in the special Steel Edition of Metal Hammer UK's issue 233, exclusively available to order at this location. Customers who purchase the Metal Hammer Steel Edition will receive the digital and physical EP along with the magazine, and will receive the digital version of the long play album as soon as it is released.

HolyHell will be performing at several European summer festivals in June and July:

June

16 – Ost Fest – Bucharest, Romania

21 – Gods Of Metal – Milan, Italy

July

6 – Getaway Rock Festival – Gävle, Sweden

9 – Dortmunder Music Week Festival – Dortmund, Germany
