MACHINE HEAD have issued the following announcement:
"For a limited time only, if you pre-order your copy of The Blackening (in stores March 27th) you'll also receive a free CD booklet autographed by the band! Supplies are limited, so be sure to act fast! This offer is valid for both domestic and international orders."The Blackening was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in the band’s hometown of Oakland, CA. Once again produced by singer/guitarist Robert Flynn and mixed by Colin Richardson (previous MH efforts, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, NAPALM DEATH). It features the following eight tracks: 'Clenching The Fists Of Dissent', 'Beautiful Mourning', 'Aesthetics Of Hate', 'Now I Lay Thee Down', 'Slanderous', 'Halo', 'Wolves' and 'A Farewell To Arms'.
As previously reported, Machine Head have been added to HEAVEN AND HELL's upcoming US tour, which will also feature MEGADETH as direct support. Initial dates are as follows:
