Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, MÖTLEY CRÜE has announced that their show scheduled for July 23rd at the Budweiser Summer Stage at Tag's in Big Flats, NY has been rescheduled to July 16th.

Gates will open on the new date at 6 PM, and the show will start at 7:30 PM. All tickets purchased will be honored for the new date.

Says Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx: "We would never miss the opportunity to come up and kick ass in Big Flats."

On June 22nd, Sixx hit the stage with CHEVY METAL - the cover band featuring FOO FIGHTERS drummer Taylor Hawkins, MY RUIN guitarist Mick Murphy, and vocalist/bassist Wiley Hodgden - at The Malibu Inn in Malibu, CA. The clip below features performances of the Crüe classics 'Looks That Kill' and 'Livewire':

Sixx recently posted the following message on Twitter:

"Really looking forward to being with my family and friends all summer. #NoTours #ReCharge #GetCreative #WriteMusic #Sleep"

That statement has since been clarified by Sixx via Facebook:

"Don't get me wrong, I love being in a band but we've been touring so much for the past few years I just am over it. I cant be 100% creative when I am being rattled around in a bus month after month, constantly being interrupted 20 times a day, then add on the 1000's of miles of road between the 90 minute sets when you get to really do what you love, play music.

I will never take what I do for granted and I'm not complaining as much as saying Fuck Yeah to having this summer off to just be me and write music...

Welcome to summer everybody.......

PS - For my vacation I still do photography, I am recording with SIXX AM, I am working on The Heroin Diaries Broadway play, The Dirt movie and do my daily radio show...

Damn maybe actually need a real vacation...haha"

That being said, from September 18th to October 6th, Mötley Crüe will headline their second residency in Las Vegas, NV at The Joint inside The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. This series of 12 special shows is dubbed, An Intimate Evening In Hell.

The fall shows will be an all-new production and the band is pushing their own envelope once again. The production will be designed exclusively for The Joint in partnership with AEG Live. There will be plenty of surprise elements for fans and a set-list full of hits.

"We are proud to have pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency last year and can't wait to come back this year to take it over the top with a brand new show that will be unlike anything you've ever seen Mötley Crüe do before," said Nikki Sixx.

“The guys had such a wild and successful run the first time around, I’m sure they will want to do everything bigger and better this time. We are extremely excited to see what the band brings to The Joint and Vegas during their second residency,” said Paul Davis, vice president of entertainment at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

“If some is good, more is better! That was our thought when we got serious about bringing the Crüe back to The Joint. The run went so well last time…..the show was awesome, the numbers outstanding and working with the band and their management was a pleasure,” said Bobby Reynolds, Vice President of Booking for AEG Live Las Vegas. “I’m honored to bring one of the most entertaining bands ever back to their element.”
