RECKON WITH ONE's Mark Anthony Kopernicky Pays Tribute To The Late ROB CRANNY
April 25, 2012, 12 years ago
RECKON WITH ONE guitarist Mark Anthony Kopernicky (ex-THE EXALTED PILEDRIVER) has issued the following statement following the death of larger-than-life Canadian metal icon and Northern Storm Records owner Rob Cranny:
"It’s with a very heavy heart that I write this RWO Update. On April 21st a very good friend of mine and devoted RWO fan Rob Cranny passed away due to a heart attack. He was the most devoted music fan I’ve ever met. Every metal show that has been in Toronto, you can be sure that he was there, with a smile on his face and head banging away. As most of you know he also started a record label called Northern Storm Records, which was not surprising. After all if you saw how many albums, cassettes and CD’s he owned, the next logical step is to start your own label. I’m glad I got to know him and have lots of great memories. To all his family and friends I send my heart-felt condolences.
