ROSE TATTOO - Celebrating The Life And Times Of Pete Wells In Sydney

March 27th marks the 5th Anniversary of ROSE TATTOO guitarist Pete Wells' death. There will be a gig / get together in his honour at the Sandringham Hotel (387 King Street) in Newtown, Sydney, Australia. Start time is 4:00pm "til late."
The band recently issued the following update:
"When the call came that Uncle Fester had fallen on very hard times due to battles with diabetes and kidney failure, it wasn’t long before his mates in the music business were rallying together to throw him a life line.Fester, front man for the FESTER FANATICS for well over ten years has also worked with many of Australia’s iconic rock bands such as ROSE TATTOO, SCREAMING JETS, KILLING TIME CANNED HEAT, MASS APPEAL, MORTAL SIN, HARD ONS just to name a few. Fester is also a good friend to many more Australian and international Artists.
To help a brother in need there will be a benefit held on Saturday, March 5th at the Espy Hotel, St Kilda, Melbourne."
