Ohio-based metallers SOULLESS have issued the following update:

"Figured we'd give you folks an update on our upcoming full length.

We tracked the drums for the new record at Spider Studios with producer/engineer Ben Schigel earlier this year. From there we moved on to Big Metal Dave's Bad Back Studios to finish tracking with renowned producer Snacks Mahone. Rhythm guitar and bass tracks were finished recently and soon it will be time to pull our dear vocalist away from the buffet table long enough to lay down some pissed leprechaun screaming. After that it's solos and mixing.

The art duties will once again be handled by acclaimed fantasy/horror artist Matt Cavotta. It looks like the record will be released in Europe and Asia by our far eastern metal allies at WorldChaos Production. We hope to announce info on the US release shortly.

The album will be entitled In Death's Grip and will include the following shredders (some titles are still tentative):

What to expect? More frantic thrash in the vein of our previous releases. We don't believe in evolving.

Soulless will also be featured in the upcoming indie slasher flick The After Party Massacre. The film features and insane amount of blood, boobs and metal. Footage includes live Incantation and Soulless performances, our favorite metal gimp and cohorts performing an INCANTATION song with drummer Kyle Severn and various members being hacked to pieces. We also contributed the song 'Bleed You Dry' to the movie soundtrack which will be released on Ibex Moon Records. For more info go to AfterPartyMassacre.com."
