Recorded and posted prior to her getting the gig as the new vocalist for The Agonist and then taken down, Vicky Psarakis' cover of the band's "Thank You Pain" is back online:

Following the announcement of former lead singer Alissa White-Gluz joining Arch Enemy, The Agonist members released this statement:

"Today we announce that after three albums and countless tours we officially part ways with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. We wish Alissa all the best with Arch Enemy and her future endeavors.

It is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for The Agonist! We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the The Agonist family. Please give a warm welcome to very talented vocalist Vicky Psarakis! Stay tuned for new The Agonist material coming VERY soon!"

Psarakis issued the following statement:

"I'm very excited to announce that I am the new vocalist of The Agonist. After almost two months of being in Montreal and working on this new album, I'm happy to be able to finally share this with you all. Stay tuned, a lot more news will be coming your way!"

The Agonist released a 2-song digital single on April 29th via Century Media, the first to feature Psarakis.
