BW&BK; has received the following press release from Gary Carson (Screaming Symphony):

The most isolated melodic metal band in the world, VOYAGER (from Perth in Western Australia), are finding themselves stranded in Europe.

Due to appear at the now defunct ProgPower UK festival on March 28th/29th, Voyager cannot change their travel plans. Says vocalist/keyboardist Daniel Estrin: "It's disappointing for all the bands but we were travelling 15,000 kilometres just to be there. We'd planned to use ProgPower UK as a stepping stone to a higher profile since the release of our second album, uniVers, through German label Dockyard1. It's such a huge pity that a great festival like PPUK has had to be buried. We played at ProgPower Europe in 2006 and saw the magic that brought fans of progressive and power metal together. "

Voyager are looking for UK or European metal bands to help supplement their trip. Continues Daniel; "We're not looking to recoup costs. We're looking at the very least to play some concerts. Whether it's in Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, or Switzerland this is basically a call to arms to say if there are any bands or management companies that can put us on some local concerts, please get in touch with us or Dockyard 1 Records.

The band is available between March 27th to April 5th in the UK, and April 7th to April 17th across mainland Europe. If you're in a band and would like to help Voyager out by organising a local concert then hit their website at www.voyager-australia.com or contact Daniel on daniel@voyager-australia.com.
