hot flashes news wargasm dvd

The webmaster for the official website of Boston thrash pioneers WARGASM has issued the following update:

"WOW... it's been 2+ years since the last update. First off I would like to apologize for taking over two years to make this update, I have no excuse except that nothing has really been happening as of yet in the land of Wargasm.

Here is a recent e-mail I received from (guitarist) Rich (Spillberg)...

'The DVD has been coming along slowly but surely. I actually got myself involved in producing another album, and that has been taking my time away from the Gasm DVD, but I have recently started back into it. The band that I'm producing is STEEL ASSASSIN... if you don't know of them they were around in the early eighties. They had a JUDAS PRIEST/IRON MAIDEN/SAXON - early metal sound.

I used to roadie for them long before Gasm was doing it. They broke up in around '86, and recently, the original members (except for the singer) all reformed to write and record an album. They asked me to do it. They have some interest from some labels here and in Europe, so we are trying to sort that all out right now. Yeah, taking these things on is great, but it does interfere with the Gasm stuff. The way I look at it is the Gasm package will come out and it is going to be amazing!!'

As some of you may or may not know I created a MySpace account for Wargasm back in February of 2005. The page URL is myspace.com/wargasm this is now where you will find MP3's for download and a message board dedicated to Wargasm!

Originally I was going to make this update in conjunction with the release of the DVD however due to the DVD taking a little longer to come out and others complaining that I never update the page, I felt it was high time to make an update to the page. I hope you all enjoy the new layout and content.

Updates on this page include: news, tons of picctures, flyers, shirts, reviews, press, discover, biography and links.

Unfortunately, wargasm_dvd@yahoo.com no longer works."

As previously reported, the above mentioned DVD "is going to be a historical look at the band, and will include songs from the reunion show (held September 18th at the Middle East Club in Cambridge, MA), as well as other stuff from the vaults."

More details as they surface.
