HARDCORE SUPERSTAR - Bad Sneakers And A Pina Colada

First impression was yeah, whatever. Boring cover art, unoriginal moniker and cheesy album title. But once the music began to blare, things changed. Hardcore Superstar are energetic, frenzied and poised to kick your ass. Trashy punk with touches of glam and good ol' rock and roll, this four piece are like a more potent Buckcherry mixed with Michael Monroe and touches of New American Shame. Pick your poison: whiskey, lager or wine, they all go down just fine with the screechy, sweaty guitar-driven sounds of H.S. Catchy, unpretentious tunes that shine like strip-bar neon signs. You just can't help but step inside, and after only a glimpse it's impossible to leave.
